This week I have been producing giclee prints from my Epson printer. The results are interesting – I have re-worked prints and experimented with colour, tone and texture. The idea is to produce prints on postcard size which gives an alternative to cards. The plan for this coming week is to try to find some thin plywood, no thicker than 1.3mm as the printer won’t take thicker. I will then print out the images that I produced at Christmas but on wood and not plastic boards. I am curious to see the effect on colour saturation. The overall effect should be more subtle, like my originals done on Asian plywood.
